Emily Griffith, the Chicago-based founder of a sprouted buckwheat company, invested a large portion of her marketing budget and โ€œendless hoursโ€ preparing for the brandโ€™s first-ever trade show, Natural Products Expo West. The event was expected to draw more than 85,000 attendees and 3,600 exhibitors March 3-7 in Anaheim, Calif.
