Trust us on this one – Matcha Lil Bucks is the BEST sprouted buckwheat choice for this delightfully fruity-but-not-too-sweet yogurt bowl! The Matcha goes so well with the papaya fruit, vanilla yogurt and rose petals. A new favorite combo in my family!

Studies also show the visual appeal of a dish affects satiety. We couldn’t agree more with this one. It only takes about 2 extra minutes to take your standard yogurt bowl from blah to TROPICAL PARADISE! The edible rose petals are so fun to play with, too, and add a delightful subtle flavor. We recommend these ones from Suncore Foods.

Lil Bucks Yogurt Pitaya Boat

Lil Bucks Yogurt Pitaya Boat

Yield: 2
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes

Color up your morning breakfast with this yogurt pitaya bowl.

  • 1 Pitaya, sliced in half and seeded
  • 2 servings of vanilla yogurt of choice (we love Siggi's new dairy-free yogurt or Culina!)
  • 1 banana sliced
  • 1/2 cup Matcha Lil Bucks
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • Edible dried rose petals

  1. If you haven't already, slice the pitaya in half length-wise and remove the seeds.
  2. Scoop a serving of yogurt into each half of the pitaya
  3. Line the outside with half of the sliced banana per pitaya half
  4. Then add the Matcha Lil Bucks (Matcha goes incredibly well with the pitaya fruit, vanilla yogurt + rose flavors!)
  5. Add a line of the chia seeds - 1 tbsp per boat
  6. Decorate with edible rose petals - these are beautiful but also add great flavor!
  7. Enjoy!
